FAPSS
Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons of SAARC Countries
About Us
Dear Friends,
Warm Christmas and the New year Greetings from FAPSS Secretariat.
As you are aware, the formation of the FAPSS was an attempt to have a platform for regional co operation , in order to explore the possibilities of extended regional interaction, promote local research and provide avenues for our younger colleagues to present their work and interact more often with their colleagues. There has been steadily progress, though slow to achieve these goals.
The FAPSS has the following AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
a) To provide a forum for exchange of scientific information and for interchange of technological know-how amongst the members.
b) To promote and provide guidance on ethical issues to the members.
d) To provide technical assistance to the member organizations for improvement and initiation of the paediatric surgical facilities in their countries so as to disseminate and disburse paediatric surgical care.
e) To hold scientific meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
f) To advise in carrying out clinical and experimental research for the furtherance of pediatric surgery.
g) To carry out any activity which is incidental to or consonant with the attainment of any of the objectives of the Association.
